Guatemala jewelry collection – from the heart of Central America

During her next journey in search of the crafts of the world, Anna Orska stopped in Guatemala — a country where woven fabrics carry centuries of history, and jade stones, polished by local masters, preserve the energy of the earth. Traditional Guatemalan textiles, handwoven by K’iche’ Maya women, have been framed in minimalist, gold-plated forms resembling wide cuff bracelets in this collection. The colors and patterns in these fabrics are deeply symbolic: red stands for strength, blue for the sky and water, and yellow for the sun and fertility. The colorful textile patterns and stones in shades of green, white, pink, and black, set in geometric frames, create jewelry full of contrasts. The Guatemala Collection proves that when tradition meets modernity, something truly unique emerges — jewelry that carries the heartbeat of Central America.

Cuff bracelet made from Guatemalan fabric – color and craftsmanship on your wrist

This bracelet is crafted from a wide strip of handwoven Guatemalan fabric, forming an impressive textile cuff around the wrist. The multicolored patterns, are set in gold-plated brass frames with a brushed finish — their textured surface contrasts beautifully with the softness of the fabric. The bracelet fastens with two classic lobster clasps and includes adjustable extensions, one of which is decorated with the brand’s logo charm. A decorative brass element in the shape of a pyramid adorns the fabric, referring to the conical jade stones from the rest of the collection, tying all its pieces into one cohesive story.

Since the fabrics are handwoven, each bracelet has a unique pattern arrangement, making every piece one of a kind.

Weaving from Chichicastenango – an art passed down through generations

Chichicastenango is a town where fabric is more than material — it’s a language. The K’iche’ Maya women have been weaving by hand on traditional looms for generations, encoding in the threads the stories of their ancestors, rituals, and daily life. The process requires time, patience, and skill, passed from mother to daughter — every thread is woven with intention, every pattern carries meaning. The same authentic textiles from Chichicastenango that adorn the bracelets in the Guatemala Collection are also used in a limited line of kimonos — garments that combine traditional Guatemalan fabric with minimalist, timeless design. It’s a way to carry not only beauty, but also history — a story of the hands that created it and the culture that has endured through the centuries.
